We have installed a new press brake. This is the fourth for our department, which took place shortly after the arrival of the second sheet metal laser.
The new machine has a bending force of 135 tons and a 3-meter workbench. Its special features are:
A stroke increased to 300 mm to allow the bending of complex shapes and boxes.
- Lower table with electronic and non-mechanical compensation to allow precise, linear but above all reproducible bending even for long and thin sheets. This eliminates a problem that usually occurs for sheets over 1.5 meters.
- Electronic compensation is managed by the PC and is an active axis. Traditional machines have a mechanical system that is a passive system with lower quality results.
- Wila ® type tool holders with pneumatic hooking and unhooking which results in reduced machine set-up times.
Thus, thanks to new technologies, we increase the production capacity but also the quality of the parts thanks this press brake machine.
